Refund Policy
PolicyAU Movies offers monthly, quarterly, and yearly subscription plans. Because access to our catalog is granted immediately on payment, refunds are governed by the eligibility rules below.
1. Eligibility for a refund
- A full refund is available if requested within 7 (seven) days of your first-time subscription purchase AND if less than 60 minutes of catalog content has been streamed on the account.
- Refunds are not available for renewal charges after the initial 7-day window.
- Refunds are not available if the account has been used to violate our Terms of Service — including fraud, chargeback abuse, sharing credentials, or region evasion.
- If you were double-billed due to a technical error, the duplicate charge is refunded in full regardless of the 7-day window. Contact us with the payment reference IDs of both charges.
2. How to request a refund
Send an email to support@au-movies.com from your registered email with the subject line:
Include:
- Your registered email address
- Payment reference ID (visible under Account → Subscription)
- Reason for the refund request
3. Processing timeline
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and reversed to the original payment method (PayU or PhonePe). The exact time the funds settle on your bank statement, UPI, or card depends on your bank — usually 3–10 business days from the reversal.
4. Payment gateways
AU Movies uses PayU and PhonePe as its payment gateways. AU Movies does not store your card number, CVV, or UPI PIN — those details are handled directly by the gateway. Refund reversals travel back through the same gateway that processed the original payment.
